Carbohydrate-based soil conditioners for optimal growth
Soil
conditioners have a wide range of functionalities - from fertilisation
to structure improvement to stabilisation. Soil conditioners that
improve soil water status have a direct effect on plant growth
and can affect the spatial distribution (diffusion) and effectiveness
of agrochemical active ingredients and nutrients. Adjuvants &
Formulations presents an insight in the current knowledge and
commercialisation of soil conditioners based on carbohydrate chemistry.

Granular fertilisers as carrier for cotton herbicides
Weed
control in cotton cultivation in the Cotton Belt of the USA is not that
easy. Weed researchers are investigating the prospects of granular
fertilisers that are coated or impregnated with a residual herbicide.
Adjuvants & Formulations briefly summarized this work.
