Foliar-applied fertilisers need water in the drop deposit
Foliar-applied
fertilisers should remain dissolved on the leaf surface. Otherwise, the
uptake of nutrients will stop. The relative humidity and two closely
related properties of the foliar fertiliser determine the drying out of
droplets and the concomitant crystallisation of nutrients. The two
properties, deliquescence and efflorescence, and their value for the
