Deep eutectic solvents can provide more than true solutions
Deep
eutectic solvents (DES) can fully dissolve substances, but researchers
found that a DES can also result in a polydisperse colloidal system with
superior physical and chemical stability. Adjuvants & Formulations summarizes briefly the results of this study.

Chinese inventors have prepared an imidacloprid formulation that contains 24-epibrassinolide to accelerate the in planta
degradation after this active ingredient has done its work. The
formulation is a composite nanoparticle that comprises as core material
imidacloprid and the 24-epibrassinolide. The wall material provides for a
sequential release of both compounds.
