Fatty
acid herbicides perform significantly better when they are combined
with cyclodextrin, or a cyclodextrin derivative. These cyclodextrins or
derivatives can be added in a less than equimolar ratio to the fatty
acid active ingredient, according to the German chemical company Wacker
Chemie.
