Weaken your resistant weeds and then kill them
Researchers
at Monsanto are working on weakening herbicide-resistant weeds and
killing them with the same spray solution. The inventors investigated
the applicability of this approach and examined a range of various
adjuvants to improve the efficacy of this method. Syngenta and other
companies also explore the possibilities of this new gene silencing
approach. Adjuvants & Formulations presents a state-of-the-art. Picture by Bob Hartzler, Iowa State University

Hydrogel baits offer novel way to manage invasive ants
Hydrogels
can effectively deliver pesticide bait to invasive Argentine ants.
Entomologists have found that this approach quickly decimated a colony
in a plum orchard. Read more in Adjuvants & Formulations. Picture by Tom Campbell, Purdue University
